Telangiectasia Face and Spider Veins on Legs

Spectrum laser can treat both face and leg veins with multiple modalities. Make unsightly facial veins a thing of the past, thanks to the Spectrum Laser. No more painful injections! With the most advanced technology, a unique design, and a longer wavelength, the Spectrum Laser can safely and effectively treat tiny superficial telangiectasia facial veins and also treat very unsightly spider veins on the legs of both men and women and of all skin tones.

How does Telangiectasia Facial Vein Therapy work?

The Spectrum Laser delivers pulses of light energy which cause the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by your body. Blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skin’s surface, where it should be.

What types of telangiectasia facial veins can be treated?

The Spectrum Laser can remove unsightly facial Telangiectasias (tiny facial veins) with multiple modalities. The unsightly veins can be treated quickly without bruising or complication. A careful evaluation will help you determine which vessels can be treated and the best course of treatment.

Do the treatments hurt?

Most patients experience a slight snap with delayed heat sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered through the handpiece. Although no local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required, most patients do not require any topical anesthetic. Following the treatment, the pain is minimal to nonexistent.

What happens after the treatment?

Following your treatment, some redness or bruising may occur. When larger veins are treated, a tan or brownish pigment may persist for a few weeks or months following treatment.

When will I see results?

Most patients find that the majority of the treated veins have shown significant improvement within two to six weeks of treatment. However, your final results may not be apparent for several months. Over time, it is possible for new veins to appear, but these too can be removed with the Spectrum Laser.
